Brief

To design a landscape scheme for a sports centre on a heavily polluted former landfill site.

Details

Thirlwall Associates worked with the Vale of White Horse District Council’s engineers to create a scheme to meet the Environment Agency’s surface water run off requirements.

The design included a Sustainable Urban Drainage Scheme (SuDS) including the use of permeable paving materials to create a water storage reservoir.
